Amazon.com, is currently working with OEM suppliers in China and has established an operations team in China to support new product builds, product ramp, supply availability and competitive sourcing activities.
This role will be a key interface for all activities related to order management from forecasts to delivery including day to day communication and management of the OEM partner as it relates to order fulfillment and scheduling.
a) Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and the planning teams in US, monitoring, managing and driving the OEM to assure goals/schedule is being met.
b) Coordinate with OEM and Operations/Materials teams to develop build plan and communicate to all required parties.
c) Facilitate forecast and long-term planning in consideration of demand projection and capacity utilization.
d) Manage order fulfillment. Work with demand planning team & OEM to provide order prioritization when supply is constrained.
e) Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule.
f) Verify fulfillment of build/ship.
g) Be responsible for report generation and distribution.
a) Minimum six years Supply Chain Planning experience in a fast moving consumer market Segment Company, including a minimum of two years management of an OEM partner.
b) Good data analytical skills and attention to details.
c) Good communication skill (written and verbal in both Mandarin and English).
d) Experience with MS Office, specifically Excel.
e) Highly organized, being able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
f) This role requires some travel.
a) Bachelor degree or higher level education is preferred.
b) Experience with LEAN manufacturing is preferred.
c) Supply Chain Planning experience especially on Order fulfillment, Production Planning and Project Management is preferred.
d) Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully
