We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with deep experience leading sub-system and part designs through fast-paced product development cycles. A strong mix of technical breadth and process logistics allow you to work cross-functionally to tie mechanical assemblies and electronics into compelling customer experiences. You are highly motivated and self-sufficient.


Your work experience includes 8 years of mechanical product design. This consists of designing mechanical parts and assemblies for manufacture. You are knowledgeable of the material properties of various plastic resins and metals as well as finishing methods.  You have expertise in both tolerance analysis and CAD design. You understand how to bring an idea to design, and a design to production. You have demonstrated the ability to deliver a solution to the customer’s need through your design and have brought other functions and subject matter experts along with you. You can collaborate with partner CM/ODM/OEM companies to design, test, and manufacture HW solutions

A track record of innovation and experience in selecting material and components to achieve cost targets is desired. The establishment of specifications and written test plans, including the development of test procedures to verify your designs are integral to the position.

An ability to manage design against a tight development timeline required. Good communication skills allow you to work seamlessly with teams across geographies. You are willing to travel internationally at times to support design and manufacturing activities. You can work well with international contract manufacturers. Flexible in daily schedule to allow for frequent conference calls


B.S. Mechanical engineering required, M.S. or PhD in related engineering discipline preferred.

8 or more years of product development experience, 4 of which include electronic devices.

In-depth knowledge of mechanical tolerance analysis.

Design of complex assemblies, and injection molding of products that successfully reached volume production is required.

High proficiency with Pro-E Creo.

Domestic and international travel required.

Proficient with prototyping and lab work.

Understanding of injection molding and metal forming methods.

GD&T experience preferred.

English verbal and written skills required.
