Job Description

The Integration Solution Architect (ISA) role resides within the Alipay Enterprise Presale Integration Solution (PIS) team and is responsible for leading key strategic activities such as Integration Solution Architecture creation and presentation as well as projects’ implementation and maintenance.

This person functions as a regional primary Technical Force for the Alipay global services and as such, provides a single point of contact for any relevant technical consultation required by external partners. The ISA routinely creates and presents multi-platform / multi-team Solution Architectures and estimates and so must be able to maintain good working relationships with business facing as well as technical constituents across multiple teams and Business Units. This role provides leadership for quality focused activities such as requirements Integration Detail reviews, Technical Design reviews, Test Plan reviews, and Impact Analysis reviews. Working closely with the BD and PD team, the ISA role consistently works to assure that any new Integration being done appropriately with the internal/external teams aligns with direction, best practices, and standards defined.

Finally, the ISA must stay abreast of industry technology trends and direction as it relates to the Fintech and be able to present applicable advances and changes to help drive future looking initiatives.

Job requirements

Experience, education, and skill set requirements

o Mandarin & English language skills are required

o 3yr+ experience working in development team

o Good knowledge on Java, C, network, Database, etc

o Experience authoring technical documentation

o BS (or equivalent) in computer science, computer engineering, or related field

o Demonstrate excellent communication skills

o Experience working with integration, SOA, and process automation systems


o Cantonese language skill is preferred

o Experience working within customer services related roles

o Fintech/Payment business background and experience is highly appreciated

o Able to communicate complex scenarios with both technical and nontechnical audiences in local language.

o Able to lead initiatives from idea to Integration implementation

o Able to understand and digest complex. multi-tier, integrated software systems

o Able to think critically under pressure

o Able to decompose complex systems to facilitate communication, trouble shooting, and impact analysis

o Demonstrate passion for process standardization and IT excellence

o Able to overseas business travel
